as the International Monetary Fund upgraded the country's growth prospects by more than any other

large country.

The IMF now expects Russia's economy to grow by 2.6% in 24, more than double its previous

forecast of 1.1.

The upgrade is likely to be a blow to the west. Well, it is in need of explanation.
