protests against the sentencing of an opposition leader.

We start in Ukraine where there's fierce fighting across a number of locations across

Russian-occupied south and east of the country.

That's according to the Russian Ministry of Defence.

The Ministry has released video of what it says are battles on Sunday, showing outward

vehicles coming under heavy fire.

The quality of the footage is poor, so the BBC has been unable to verify the time and place

in the recording.
