more and more bike pros are turning to running to get their hours and distance in. In fact,

pro cyclers are now crediting running with keeping them in peak fitness

and helping them as it's a great way to introduce cross-training.

Interestingly as well, running half marathons has become part of their fitness regimes now

thanks to its many benefits.

Although frustratingly, even though running is just something they're doing on the side of

their main sports, as endurance athletes, it will come fairly easily to most of them and we are seeing some pretty

impressive times in other news the percy pud run in sheffield was cancelled last weekend due to

the big dump of snow that hit many parts of the country but do not worry if, if you're signed up, it is coming back on Sunday the 10th this coming weekend.

It's South Yorkshire's most popular 10K.

It happens every December in the Loxley Valley.

Ever since the first race in 1993, when 600 people crossed the line.

Nowadays, the entry has to be limited to around 3,000

and it's so popular, it sells out in a flash.
