It is a week. I'm not going to lie to you. That has been difficult for me. I actually posted about

just letting everything catch up to me. And I haven't talked a little bit about running. I said,

I was running 100 miles per hour, and suddenly I had to stop.

So as I record this, I'm also in that struggle and hearing from so many people who also struggle with depression.

With dealing with grief, my sister passed away not too long ago, and it really hit me how much that community and music really

does heal. And the other thing that heals is running, and that's what this run cast is all about.

I'm starting to get back to running where it's not sporadic around the injury. I've been taking

care of my calf. Thanks for all the well wishes. You fellow runners know a calf is like a,

like someone's sick in your family. You're checking in. Hey, how's your buddy the calf? Well,

you know, okay. Uh, getting better. I'm going to PT and I'm doing all the exercises and I got my

mileage back up. Did five miles and some change just before I sat down to record this.

Yeah, I'm a little sore, but I'm on it, and I'm headed towards a big race, I hope, in the

spring, as I've talked about, because I need that goal, I need that running, I need that

community, and I know all those things will help heal through music.
