We're going to talk about something very near and dear to my heart today

we're going to talk about running a business from home and I can't wait to talk to you

guys about this I have worked from home for over 16 years now and feel like I kind of know a lot of the

ins and outs and have figured out what works and what doesn't work and working from home is something

that I at this point just can't imagine not doing. Do you know what I mean? Like if someone

told me I had to go back to an office job, I just, I can't even like picture myself being able to do that.

And I run into women every day who are wanting to make the leap from being stuck in what they feel like is a cubicle jail to working

from home and they're just, they're nervous about making that leap, they're not quite sure what

to do, they're not sure if there's things they need to have set in place or you know what

kinds of things they need to be prepared for and so we're going to talk about

some of those things today and I'm going to just encourage those of you who are

considering starting a business at home to make

that leap.

And so here we go.

We're going to talk first about just an interesting statistic that I found, which just is kind of

mind-blowing.

15 million people were self-employed last year.

15 million, like that is a lot of people.

That's 10% of every person who's in the workforce is self-employed. That's crazy. And the other stat that I found that was just mind-blowing is that 69% of all entrepreneurs,

all business owners, start their business at home.
