In the scriptures, Jesus said if you look after a woman in lust, you're committing adultery, and that's a big thing to consider.

We're going to unpack that a little bit today on the show.

I'm John Fuller, along with Greg Smalley and his wife, Aaron, who lead the marriage team here at Focus on the Family.

And Greg and Aaron, this is a big thing where we talked about it last time.

There's a lot of sexuality in the culture. And I think not enough of us consider those words

from Jesus that there is a pretty significant effect. When I think up here, there's some damage

that happens in my relationship.

There really is. I often hear from guys as we have this discussion or someone's coming in for

some counseling around, it seems like there's two big issues of how it impacts that person's

brain and really affects in their productivity and just life in

general is one that it becomes an obsession. And we're talking about the use of pornography.

Right. To where someone is just thinking about that constantly, when will my next hit be?

When can I break away and look at my phone or go to my tablet on my computer and it just

becomes this obsession I just I need to look and it's really hard to get things done when

when I'm just thinking about when when can I do this yeah in there's kind of a takeover

your brain really is I think on the the other side of that is a guilt.

So that can be just as consuming that I messed up.

I've been working at this and how I failed.

I made a mistake.

I looked.
