The rules are meant to be broken.

School teaches us that life is a game to win against our peers.

We're graded on a uniform scale no matter our background, our strengths, our weaknesses, our future goals,

and sometimes we're even graded on a curve relative to our peers.

This insane, pointless system of competition is baked into the 20th century educational model.

We're taught that life is a game of musical chairs and that if we don't hustle, we're going

to be left standing without a seat.

This in it to win it mentality is the polar opposite of a creative mindset,

which is abundant, resilient, and full of potential. Aiming to be better is a dead end because it

means you'll walking in someone else's footsteps and trying to catch up. Life gets so much easier once you

decide to play your own game. Don't just try and be better, be different. First of all, I read

that from my book, Creative Calling. And now more than ever before, I see an opportunity, an opportunity to create new things.

We've just, we're trying our best to emerge from this pandemic.

And we are aware that the things that we were doing that didn't make us happy now have no

meaning.

They are not the thing that we were put on this planet to be.

When we tell our parents

or appears about a creative aspiration, more often than not, we're told to face reality. You can't

be an X, a Y or a Z. That's a pipe dream, Chase. Well, listen up. There's no such thing as real

reality except whatever you accept. When people say that's the way things are,

what they're revealing is a big, fat, limiting belief that's standing in the way of everything
