Morning everybody, welcome along to your free podcast. It's Friday. It's the 18th of September.

It's rugby. It's the World Cup. It's twicken and going crackers and everybody trying to make as much money as possible.

The restaurants will be trying to make money. and everybody will be jumping up and down and

the bars will be hoping to take a fortune. We've got more new restaurants that have opened up specifically

for this. And so they've got a few weeks down at Richmond on your way into Twickenham on the 316 on the right

hand side, an old dear park. There's this enormous, I think it's like a beer tent, but it's huge,

absolutely huge, and they've got funfair rides there and everything. They're determined to make

the most of it. And so that's quite nice. I'm not picking up the car till tomorrow because I think

we're going to be in lockdown. I think the whole of the area is going to just grind to a halt, which is okay. Hearing all the, um, says Dan, the talk of the rugby World Cup brings a tear

to my eye, being both born and bred in Twickenham. I wish my mum and dad were still here as they

love the rugby. She'd have never been, never been, never been, played, never been, never been.

A Steve Allen convert is a lady called Sue at Westley and she listens all the time, says Maddie, that's what we like to hear.

I like people who are converts to the programme.

I think that's quite a good idea, a convert to the programme.

People who've sort of, they've been trying to find, you know, a sort of programme to listen to on the radio that might actually get you up in the morning, that might get you going to work with a smile on your face, which might actually get you

sort of going, well, you know, here's somebody speaking a lot of sense.

Steve, I wish I was in Twickenham tonight for the World Cup.

Having moved up north, sadly, I shall miss it all.
