0:49.3	have now met with Trump's former lawyer and dear, dear friend Rudy Giuliani. After the 2020
0:55.0	election, of course, Giuliani led the effort to push voter fraud conspiracies to state legislatures
1:00.8	in an attempt to get them to send false electors to Congress. Here's what he told Georgia lawmakers
1:06.8	back in December of 2020. You are the final arbiter of who the electors should be and whether the
1:14.3	process is fair or not. And the other way to look at it, it's your responsibility if a false and
1:20.8	fraudulent count is submitted to the United States government. Today Giuliani's political advisor
1:28.6	described the interview with Jack Smith's team as, quote, entirely voluntary and conducted in a
1:34.5	professional manner. The New York Times reports the interview took place last week and that people
1:39.9	familiar with the discussion say it took place under what is known as a proffer agreement.
1:45.1	The Times notes it is the latest indication that Mr. Smith and his team are actively seeking witnesses
