And this is important because for a long time there's been all these questions about the nature of the relationship between the United States and Europe.

And there's been a lot of people, to include myself, who have been very, very skeptical of things going forward, the way that the rules have worked ever since World War II just don't seem to be working anymore, at least not the way that they should when we consider the United States interest, and really when we consider Europe's interest as well. And there's a lot of people that have taken this one of two routes, right? There's been some people have said, screw them all like just get out of the u.n get out of nato why do we need him anyways um and then there's

been other people like oh i can't believe that donald trump is just you know harming these these

relationships that we have with with europe these strategic alliances and marco rubio gets up there

and just i, clearly articulates why Europe

matters, but also why the current arrangements are no longer working. And then he highlights

the most fundamental issue that we have to answer going forward if this is going to work.

And I was just so impressed.
