I'll tell you what, man. I've gone through it this week and come out the other side. And man, what a thrill at all. It kind of gave me Dark Souls vibe solving my first Rubik's Cube.

Okay. Are we just going to get it? Let's get into it, too. We're talking about the Rubik's Cube, y'all. Let's get into it, dude. It's in a cool week. All right. All right. Let's just talk about like not even a gush, just like without like being able to solve a Rubik's Q.

What did the Rubik's cube represent in your mind?

Because for me, it was always like this ubiquitous object of like pop of genius.

Yes.

That it was a shorthand for this is what a smart person knows how to do. I remember

playing with one in the 90s. There was one in my uncle's house and like I would spend like,

it felt like, you know, who knows when you're that young, but like hours trying to just get

one side solved and then figuring, then like ruining it trying to solve

the other sides. It felt like there was no way. It felt impossible. You would like, it was

extremely frustrating that, you know, you would like make progress and then undo that progress.

But it was this captivating object, you know,

with the brightly colored sides, the perfect cubicness of it. It's satisfying. It's like

spinny and clicky and there's order and chaos all contained in this one plastic object.

And they were everywhere. They were just like, you know, it was a visual shorthand for like nerd or smart in so many

forms of pop culture.
