Bear attacks and bad weather are making headlines all over the place and you definitely do NOT want any future headlines like that involving you on your RVing adventures! RV News of the Week: All About Bear Attacks and Bad Weather Bear Attacks – A camper was killed over the weekend by a black bear in British Columbia, Canada. The man and his fiancee were camping in a small campground at the Parsnip River near Mackenzie, British Columbia. It appears the man killed was sleeping by a firepit and, after the overnight bear attack, was discovered the next morning by the fiancee who had been sleeping nearby in the couple's RV. The bear was found and killed. (Read more) Meanwhile, at least two videos have been circulating showing what some say are charging, overly aggressive bears. One was in Yellowstone National Park and shows a mother black bear and her three cubs trapped on a highway bridge by camper-touting tourists. She and the cubs are noticeable stressed, unable to easily escape off the bridge.
