Summary

My guest today is Rozanna Purcell

Roz is a best selling cookery author, presenter and entrepreneur.

She grew up on a farm in Tipperary and has travelled the world as a model and as a beauty queen winning Miss Universe Ireland in 2010.

Having developed an unhealthy relationship with food during her modelling years - her blog Natural Born Feeder and her subsequent cookbooks were born out of a change in her lifestyle and falling back in love with cooking.

Hi, I'm Margie Nomura and welcome to the Desert Island Dishes podcast.

0:05.8

This is the podcast where every week I ask my guest to choose their seven Desert Island dishes.

0:12.4

These range from finding out about the dish that most reminds them of their childhood,

0:16.9

the best dish they've ever eaten, and of course, the last dish they would choose to eat

0:22.5

before being cast off to the Desert Island.

0:25.2

I hope you're all well and that you've had a lovely week.

0:28.4

Thank you so much for the amazing reviews you've been leaving.

0:31.9

I read them all, and they genuinely make my day, and they give the show a little boost,

0:36.9

so thank you very much.

0:38.6

I'm thrilled to tell you that this episode of Desert Island Dishes is brought to you in partnership

0:43.7

with Sweaty Betty. They're a brand that's passionate about empowering women through fitness,

0:49.5

but also to the world beyond, which I'm all in favour of. They make the best leggings in the business,

0:55.8

in my humble opinion. The power leggings are a revelation. And obviously they're great for

1:01.8

working out in, but they're also great for pottering about in, general walking around in, and they're

1:07.3

just seriously comfy. I love the work that Sweaty Betty do with lots of different charities

1:12.1

from Fallen Angels Dance Theatre to Body Positiveity Movement

1:16.1

and also the anti-bullying charity ditch the label.

1:19.7

I just think they're thoroughly good eggs and to celebrate this

1:23.1

they've given you the listener a 20% of discount code

1:27.2

which is quite simply desert island dishes.

1:30.2

That's just all one word.

1:32.1

And thank you very much to Swetti Betty.
