I learned a long time ago not to overreact to opening day, win or lose, based specifically

on that individual game because there are so many

games in a baseball season. What I try to do is find things in that first game that are precursors

to the entire season, and there were plenty of those on Thursday at Kaufman Stadium. We'll get into

all the mechanics and everything that went right and wrong for the Kansas City Royals.

As Quentin Lucas and John Sherman did interviews on KCMO Talk Radio and gave us the very

Thursday at Kaufman Stadium. So this one a little personal, if you will, a little more personal than

really, really like. It's new music and it's a great song, and I think you're going to

like it as well. We start with the Royals who lose to the Cleveland Guardian 7-4 in 10

innings in a game where the Royals found themselves in extra innings with no

pitching left. And I say no pitching because obviously Sam Long could have come in and gotten

the job done. Royals could have found another pitcher in the bullpen. But the game plan to win this

year is not get to the 10th inning and hand the ball to Sam Long with a runner on second and

nobody out. That's not the game plan. So how did they get where they were? The computer said
