All right, everybody, welcome back to another edition of The Tear Down.

My name is Jeff Gluck.

I'm on with my co-worker Jordan Bianchi, who is at Charlotte Motors Speedway for another edition of the Roval Race.

We now know the final eight drivers for this year's Cup series playoffs, and we got the

AJ Almondinger win that we both predicted this year at a road

course it just didn't come before the playoffs which made our playoff picks incorrect but it did

happen probably not partial credit for that though Jordan no but this is why we both said like

hiring a j. Almondinger and putting you in your race car gives you a puncher's chance to get in the playoffs every year.

And for a mid-sized team like colleague racing, it makes a lot of sense.

And it didn't happen how we thought it would.

It certainly, they did not make the playoffs this year.

But AJ showed when it comes to road courses, he's as good as it

gets, and he's somebody that is frankly talent-wise deserving of a full-time ride in the cup

series.

Yeah, and let's start there because you asked some interesting questions in the Post-Rates

press conference, which were very, you know, logical to me.

I mean, you were basically saying to Matt Colleg and Chris Rice.

So wait a minute now.

Like you guys talk about trophy hunting.

And so if you guys are going for trophies and you want to win,

how come you're not saying that AJ Almendinger is going to be back in a cup car next year?
