Summary

In this episode of the podcast, Dr. Dan Allender and Rachael Clinton Chen talk with Heather Stringer about her creative process of stepping into a moment in someone’s story in order to create a ritual. Heather invites us to pause, gather a few items, and participate in a special ritual to account for the past few days and to ask: How do I need to move toward myself during this time?

growing bud of desire that had felt so kind of squelched in the midst of that season. And, you know,

2:04.9

obviously any of us who have known a traumatic experience, it always beckons to more trauma. So,

2:10.3

of course, my healing journey extended beyond that trauma to more thematic trauma in my life and therapeutic work was just coming to this

place of knowing it was time to reclaim what I had come to call this woman who had kind of been

cast into the shadow lands, this part of me, this woman who loved, who was, I was needing a really tangible and also communal way to mark entering a threshold of healing.
