The Welcome to episode 246 of The Sleeper and the Busted is your Tuesday edition and I am

Joined as always on Tuesdays by Eno Starris who will be headed to the park to see the

Colorado Rockies and the Oakland A's. You know, how you doing?

We were just slightly delayed because I had to go buy some ice.

Gotta get some ice.

This weekend was my birthday weekend.

And so I bought, I got a keg of my favorite beer Alpine Nelson.

That's awesome.

And we took it to Stanford campus is a private campus

so you're allowed to drink wherever you want.

Oh, that's fantastic.

So we took it to what used to be a beach,

beside what used to be a lake.

The lake is now dry and the beach apparently in the last few years has gone into disrepair and

there's not much sand left so we hung out near an open empty space.

The thing that was sad for me is that either I've gotten older, my friends have had kids,

or I have fewer friends, probably some combination of all three. friends have

probably some combination of all three.

We couldn't finish the pony keg.

So I still have maybe a quarter of a pony keg in my basement and those suckers stay good as long as you can keep them so I just had to go get some ice and

replenish that ice that sounds like a nice weekly a weekday
