I'm Pete, joined by Mike, no darius today. And today, both Mike and I are going to talk to Patrick Beverly. Going to have his media availability today and going to sit down and do some

film stuff with him. I'm really excited about that, first time doing that with an NBA player.

So we're going to talk a little bit about his fit, Mike. Pat Bev comes with a lot of different

angles to him, Mike. Going into your interview today, what's on your mind first with him?

Well, I think the fit for Beverlyly alongside lebron and ad is

very obvious right and that's part of the reason perhaps part of the appeal for beverly wanting to join

this team which it does seem to be clear that he did and the question though is who fits next to him

and then how long he plays and what is that how does that impact the

rotation and i guess let me flip this back to you just to start but i am of the opinion that

he should start no matter what whether it's next to russ i don't care if you want to define point

guard shooting guard you know beverly can sort of guard either spot just fine he's going to be the

point of the attack player russ didn't actually guard a ton of point guards last year anyway, if that's the case. And he can slide up a little bit. But so that would be my sort of short answer into it. But if the roster is as is today, Pete, how do you approach things with Beverly and in terms of starting and then in terms

of rotation?

So he's in Penn as a starter, just like you're saying to me.
