took an unexpected twist yesterday with Donovan Mitchell being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for

Colin Sexton, Lori Markinen, three unprotected first round picks, and two pick swaps.

This is something that we've talked about a couple of times on the pot of the Mitchell trade

being an important domino within the Lakers off season. I think there was potential for the

Lakers to be involved in a Mitchell deal as a third team. And obviously that's not happening now, although you never know, right? Teams, I've seen teams, third and four teams get roped into deals. I don't know if it's official with the league or not. But as of now, Mike, Donovan Mitchell, to the Cavs for a bit of a haul. I actually don't think it's as much as it maybe looks like on paper,

but curious to hear your thoughts on the trade.

Yeah, we've talked about it a little bit

in just the way that these trades are going

with how many picks are being given up.

And the three unprotecteds to me is a lot.

Now, that gets mitigated a little bit
