I know I know you music so well I've listened to it for so long but in this age the way we

listen to music I have no idea what album titles are I have very little idea what songs go on

which records like you know you can just say to um Syria like play

Roseanne Cash music and it'll be all mixed up in random and yeah so always listen to an

album once or twice all the way through as an album and then for a period of time

but then the song, you start making these play,

I mean you must do the same thing, do you still listen on vinyl or CD?

What do you do?

I generally listen in order, like you said a couple times first the sequence that the artist

conceived and then I start mixing up in random and in fact the for the river and

the thread when I was sequencing that, you know, I get really obsessive about

sequencing.

And I'm not that good at it, but I'm obsessive about it.

And I get advice on that from the producer from from John whatever.

But on Twitter I just got into this kind of tar baby circle about it and I put on Twitter

why am I do spending all this time sequencing nobody cares anymore and I

immediately got like a hundred tweets I care I care I really care yeah I do I really care

about it a lot like I'm thinking a lot about Rodney's

last Rodney Kraus album the one that you sing it ain't in an over yet. Oh that song's

incredible kills me but that album is like a perfect album, I think.
