And welcome to another episode of the Lockdown Bengals podcast.

Today we've got rookie numbers, Joe, and I really like most of these numbers.

We'll talk about why we like these numbers or don't like these numbers in the cases when we don't.

And look back at some of the guys that have worn them before, some of the parallels to recent history and slightly more distant history for the Cincinnati Bengals.

And then in part two of the show, we said yesterday we were going to talk about T. Higgins and

compare him a little bit to the combine numbers for A.J. Green, for example. And since he's wearing

85 for fun, we went back and looked at Chad Johnson's combine as well. But this all leads to a discussion of

if Audentate is your fifth best receiver, is the wide receiver group the strength of the

Cincinnati Bengals in 2020? Or is it still the defensive line, which is what we felt for the last few

years? So we'll have that conversation in the second part of the show.

And before you say, oh, no, the quarterback's the strength of the team now.

Let's just not get ahead of ourselves with a rookie quarterback.

I think we all expect to get there or hope to get there at the very least.

But for now, I don't think we can say a rookie is the best player on the team.

But first, let's talk about these numbers, Joe.

Let's get those free agents out of the way first, Joe, because there isn't actually much

significance to me for these numbers.
