And welcome to another episode of the Lockdown Bengals podcast.

Bengals signed a couple of players on waivers today.

We'll talk about what exactly the waiver process looks like,

because it seems like there's some confusion around what exactly it means that the Bengals have

top waiver priority. Talk about some of the caliber of players that you can expect the Bengals

will have an opportunity to go after having that top priority

on the waiver wire. Then we'll get into a midweek mailbag, our first mailbag since the draft,

a lot of good questions from folks asking about the way this roster is shaping up, asking a little

bit about the future. So we will get through those questions after we get through the news here to get started.

Linebacker Austin Kalitro and running back Samaji Pirine were acquired on waivers by the Bengals on

Tuesday, the first day that waivers were reopened for business.

Kalitro, a linebacker, came into the league

with Seattle in 2018. He actually started five games for the Seahawks when they dealt with

some injuries at the linebacker position. And then for the Jaguars in 2019, started four games.
