We don't know what music should be valued at.

I don't think anyone does, but a market can figure out how it should be valued, right?

And if you give freedom back to the artist to determine their own pricing and their own

monetization structures, we believe they'll be able to make substantially more than they

can when there are these centralized intermediaries deciding, all right, here's how much a subscription

costs, here's how much you make from it, either you're in or you're out.

There needs to be a spectrum and a gradient of different levels of monetization centered

around different types of opportunities and that's just the tools for that have never

existed to date.

Users should be franchised in the decisions that the platform makes around how it evolves.

But more importantly than that, if you can actually distribute ownership of that next

generation network platform to users in exchange for them making the network more valuable,

you get this really powerful flywheel of backed around super adoption and consumer engagement.

The typical artist mentality is maybe I'll make a little bit of money off the volume

of the music I'm going to sell.

I think he was Steve Aoki that said something recently, like in his last, you know, few

NF2 drops, he made more money than in, you know, his music from years and years.

And if you're an artist, I think that could even change the way you think about how you

create your content.

Today artists are using Audius to build a great fan base and under this belief and kind

of notion that a fan on Audius is worth more than a fan elsewhere.
