Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible,

chapter by chapter, book by book.

Here on Searchlight, we are in the middle of a very interesting section of Scripture in the

book of Romans. Chapters 9, 10, and 11 talk about God's plan and purpose for Israel. It

shows that God has not forsaken Israel and that He will keep his promises to them. This is

important to us because God has made promises to us as well.

And by the illustration of Israel, we can know that God will be faithful to keep those promises.

As we join our teaching today, we are in chapter 10, where the Apostle Paul is telling us about true salvation.

With our study, here now is Pastor John.

After Paul talks about God's past dealing with Israel,

just showing God's sovereignty.

Now he talks about the present dealing with Israel,

showing God's equality.

Still giving Israel opportunity to this day.
