Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic

study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

In the first part of the Book of Romans, we have learned the ugliness of sin.

We have learned that sin always brings destruction.

And when many people finally understand this, they want to avoid sin.

And in doing so, they put themselves under rules and regulations.

They put themselves under the law.

But this drives us crazy because we can't keep the law.

What is the solution? Well, in our last study in Romans Chapter 7, we learned that God has called

us to a new covenant. It is a covenant where we walk by the spirit, not by the law. Let's now join

Pastor John with our teaching in progress and learn more about the problem

of legalism and the call to walk in the spirit.

How I wanted to do this and do the other and avoid this and avoid the other, but the law
