Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

Here on Searchlight, we have been looking at a radically powerful section of Scripture

regarding the

power of sin in our lives. In Romans chapter 6, we are learning that through God, the power of sin

has been broken in our lives. Our sinful old nature was crucified with Christ on the cross.

It is now paralyzed. It can yell at us and try to intimidate us to sin,

but it has no power over us. With our teaching in progress, here now is Pastor John.

A lot of things, you know, we don't understand, we can't comprehend, but we conclude they're true, even though

we ourselves kind of scratch our heads and wonder about that, I cannot figure out electricity.

I've studied it, I just sort of short circuit when I get too involved with it.

Does it go around the wire?
