section of the Bible. Okay, Romans 14, verse 17. Romans 14,

verse 17. Romans 14, verse 17.

We're just gonna look at one verse today.

And I'm gonna begin by just reading it. In fact the sentence actually begins in verse 16 so I guess maybe I need to start

where the sentence begins but we're going to be looking at

verse 17.

Therefore do not let that do not let what is for you a good thing and that good thing is Christian liberty

freedom in Christ to do those things that are not restricted in scripture be spoken of as evil and that would

be spoken of by either outsiders or the weaker brother.

uh... verse seventeen for and you know the word four introduces an explanation of

what was just said

so verse 17 follows up verse 16

and gives a fuller explanation of what this good thing is.

For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking,

but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

So the title of this lesson is Kingdom Living,

which is talking about living inside the kingdom of God.
