So let's begin in a word of prayer. Father in heaven as we look now into your word

we ask that you would open our eyes, open our hearts so that we can take in what your word says. I pray that you'd make this

very personal with each one of us that we would see what you require of us on the basis of this truth.

So direct my mind, liberate my tongue so that I can speak and say that which is true and edifying for these men.

I pray that you would bless them immeasurably for investing this time to be here in this

Bible study. This is a significant sacrifice for them to make, to wake up early, and then to fight traffic to get to work.

So use this to bless them greatly. In Christ's name, amen.

Amen. All right, men, Romans 14. Today we're looking at

verses 10 through 12 and as always I want to begin by reading the text, reading the passage, the title of this

lesson is The Judgment Seat of God.

So that's a hand tipper where this passage is headed, the judgment seat of God.

So beginning in verse 10, but you, why do you judge your brother? Are you again? Why do you judge your brother?

Are you again? Why do you regard your brother with contempt?

For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God,

for it is written,

as I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow to me and every tongue shall

give praise to God.
