Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

Here on Searchlight, we are studying through the Book of Romans, and we are now in a very practical

section in Chapter 13. As we saw in our prior program, God has established government,

and we also learned that all those who are in authority are there because God allows it.

Our job is to simply obey them. As we join our teaching today,

we are touching on some subjects of government that can be a bit controversial. Let's now

join Pastor John for the continuation of our teaching and see the Lord's heart in these

matters.

It's amazing. There's a mystery.

It's thought-provoking. It's stimulating for me to chew on and think through.

That that is the singular governmental provision that God says,

here's the way the whole thing works.

He doesn't talk about capitalism versus socialism.

He doesn't talk about the parliamentary
