okay 11 11 and reverse we're in verses 11

through 16 and I was just saying to Michael who picked me up and drove me here that if I was going someplace to preach and I was having to pull a sermon, this might be near the bottom of the list of what

I would take as far as a passing that my eye would just be drawn to. So, but we're committed to verse by verse

through the entire book of Romans, right? So you take the passages that just

scream, preach me, teach me, and then others that you might

ordinarily just pass over.

And strangely enough, so many times it's these passages that we might

skim over that end up grabbing us by the lapel and drawing us in.

So I can only pray that that will be the effect today.

And these are a little bit of a challenge to unpack and to explain.

So I need you to focus with me on these verses. So I'm going to

begin in verse 11 reading this through verse 16 if we can get this far.

The apostle Paul writes I say then they did not stumble so as to fall did they they, may it never be.

But by their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles

to make them jealous.

For if their transgression is riches for the world and their failure is riches for the
