Father, thank you for this time for us to come together to meet and study your word. Our hearts are always

greatly built up as we study your word. And so give us eyes to see, ears to hear, may we be teachable this day by your spirit in Christ's

name.

So all right we're in Romans chapter 11 and the title of this lesson is double predestination.

So this ought to be worth the study just for the title alone.

And we're going to be looking at verses seven through ten

if we have the time to get through all these verses.

Romans 11, I want to begin in verse 7 by reading the

passage. Paul writes, what then? What Israel is seeking it has not obtained, but those who were chosen obtained it and

the rest were hardened.
