Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study

of the entire Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book. Over the past couple of Searchlight

programs, we have been looking at the introductory remarks in the Book of Romans.

The Apostle Paul penned this glorious book to a group of believers in Rome whom he had not yet met.

And even in Paul's introductory remarks to them, we find amazing insight and understanding. Let's now join Pastor John as we continue this study

and see how it applies to our own lives.

He heard about him.

He had contact with a few of them,

but as a group he had never had a chance to sit down and share with them.

And Paul says, but I've heard about your faith, spoken of throughout the whole world.

I'm thankful for you. And he says, I pray consistently on behalf of you.

I pray always.

He calls God as his witness in verse 9.
