Josh and I and Tony all got together.

We invited a whole bunch of Emergent Village alumni to come hang out. In this episode, I invited my friend Rolf Jacobson,

who's a professor of Hebrew Bible at Luther's Seminary, to come on over to Tony's backyard and hang out

with the Emergent Village cohort and such and have a good old time. And I got Rolf up there. And he's talked with me and

Tony Jones about this amazing new book, a god of all places that just happened to be written by

Tony Jones. So what, what, what? Flip, flip the script. Rolf and I talked to him about his book.

And the thing is, Rolf hadn't read his book. I tried to

get him to really interact on the themes without having read it, which a professor, that's

what we're trained to do. Anyway, it's a fun conversation. It'll get you some idea of what's

going on in Tony's book, which we hope you all check out. And you'll get to hear what

happens when a Bible professor attempts to talk about the themes of a book he hasn't read yet.

But Ruff actually ended up reading it and said it was really good. So, yeah, here we go.
