This is Chris Taylor and I'm here with this week's sex chat quickie.

And I want to talk about role play moments, specifically moments that you can use to initiate

or just get your husband's attention for a few minutes before you proceed into other things.

So I'm not talking about

long-involved role play scenarios that require a full-blown character, costume changes,

any of that. I'm just talking about moments. And the first one is from a movie. There was a moment

in a 1989 movie called Parenthood with Steve Martin.

He and his wife threw an elaborate day-long birthday party for his son, and at the end of the

day, they get all the kids tucked in. The parents, of course, are exhausted, but into the bedroom

walks Steve Martin's character in his tidy-wighty underwear and his son's toy

holster, gun holster, and cowboy hat, neither of which really fit well. And he lets out with a nice

howdy ma'am. And it's just a silly thing. And I remember watching that and thinking, what a silly

romantic thing and a good way to just kind of keep things adventurous and

alive and fresh in your marriage. Another example is also from popular culture was from a

yogurt commercial a few years back, and a wife is in a French-made costume sitting on her husband's lap,

speaking French, I had no idea what she was saying, but speaking French

and spoon feeding him his yogurt. Again, could just be a little flirtation, could just be

initiation, but it was a silly way of being romantic and special together. If you want to do

something that involves costumes, you can check out a thrift store.

Sometimes they just have really things that are a perfect fit for a costume idea.

But also because things may be a little worn out and are less expensive, they can be adapted and cut as needed.
