It's certainly an interview with a very famous musician, but it is not almost at all an interview about music.

It was certainly sparky yes Yes. I think it's odd. I think he genuinely comes into things with good intentions and thinks he's championing human rights, but we very, very quickly ended up sort of clashing about what's happening in Ukraine,

what's happened in Syria, the nature of oppression, the nature of propaganda, and you know I know that people who've sort of lived in Syria or who've lived in Ukraine or who still live in Ukraine will find some of what he was saying very offensive and you know we do obviously

challenge him on this this was the point of the interview but I think it's only

fair to warn people that you know he is out there and he is

unapologetically out there as you're saying before we started there are many

points at which in theory you could have spent a lot more time debating him
