Rod, it was great to see you on the sideline before the game, bro.

Oh, man, it was good, man.

That energy was just infectious, man.

And I know me and you and TD and Crockett and Eastaw, Steve Steve Smith and just guys who played this game at a high level, man.

It was just, it was just that energy felt good, you know, just being out to the other field and watching the guys get prepared for to make themselves of the legends.

Hey, Rod, talk a little bit about your first impressions of the game.

Just, you know, beating Buffalo, Denver beating Buffalo. What did you think? You know what, man, honestly, that's the way it's going to be. It's going to be a dog fight. No matter what, I think the game could have got out of hand in our favor. You know, because of the turner-result defense, you know, they play, it's definitely a bend, but don't break

style. And to get that team with that quarterback, because you got just really feature that

quarterback as the most, probably one of the most dangerous weapons in the NFL in the last several

years to kind of hold him in check. He definitely made his plays. And for them that coming,

the most timely fashion to get a sack, get a turnover of that last part of the half was awesome

to give us a lead. We actually stopped them, but we came back and we kept them around. And we

got to realize with good teams, you can't do that. Hey, Rob, we were talking before you came on about, you know, the elephant in the room with Bow

Knicks breaking a bone in his ankle and he'll miss this week and should the Broncos win,

he'll miss the Super Bowl. You, you, Benny introduced you as a two-time Super Bowl champ. One of those years,

your starting quarterback John Elway went down and I think he missed four weeks. Now, different

time. It was a different supporting cast. The offense was structured differently. But what was

the mindset from a veteran standpoint in that locker room when they said that John is going to miss some time and Bubby Brister was going to be the guy?

We just knew we had to do what we always done. You know, the thing is, is Bubby's playing the quarterback position.

And we expect it know that he's going to do the right thing. He's going to handle the ball.
