At a certain point, we were actually about to run out of money and Michael and I were

like fighting every day and he's like, well, let's go back to LA and I'm like, no, I

came to Europe to travel and play music and make a career and I'm going to find a way

to do it.

Well, you know what I had to do?

I had to teach myself how to book a tour.

I'd never done it before.

And I literally, you know, I got a music magazine.

This is in Holland and I saw these clubs and this was before, you know, emails and internet

really.

I had to pick up the phone and call all these clubs, spend eight hours a day calling, calling,

calling.

You know, do you speak English and sending out all these cassette tapes?

And sometimes it took like 10 phone calls or the person is only in on Tuesdays at noon,

you know, it was, it was hard.

But I finally got through and by fall, we had 50 shows booked.
