Over the weekend, Thieves pulled off a Hollywood-style heist in downtown L.A.,

tunneling through multiple walls to steal millions in jewelry. Richard Winton reports the robbers

broke into Love Jewels rena de Oro by cutting through a small movie theater next door to

reach two massive safes.

Police called it some serious digging, and it paid off for the criminals.

They made off with more than $10 million in gold and jewels.

Security cameras picked up the sound of drilling, but the feed inside was cut, so there are no photos of the perpetrators.

Investigators say the crew spent hours inside and knew exactly what they were after.

Now, the FBI is taking over the case.

It's the latest in a series of high-stakes heists to shake up L.A. in the last few years.

The 28 Olympics in Los Angeles just locked in two new venues.
