Well, you know what? My hubby and I have been in the same life group for quite a number of years

with three other couples. And this past year, the girls decided we wanted to add another get

together on the calendar where it's just us four girls, Bonnie, Susan, Judy, and myself.

We meet at Bonnie's house every month. This is pre-COVID, but she has the gift,

the most amazing gift of hospitality. She just, the way she sets the table, the food that she

makes. We are just counting the minutes until we get to be there. And every month, I go buy gifts

for each of the girls. And without fail, I come in with my gifts, and Susan and Bonnie are like, you have to stop doing this.

You can't keep buying gifts.

And then Judy says, no, no, no, don't stop.

I love presents.

And we all laugh and we sit down and we settle in and we have an incredible dinner just catching up.

And then we kind of grab our Bibles and our journals.

We go into the living room and we just lean in and we carry one another's

burdens. And it is just one of the most sacred, sacred times. You know, I can't tell you what that

time means to me. There just really is something. Isn't there about being known and being loved in a way

that just heals your heart and helps you grow? You know, we're just better together, wouldn't you
