little witty thing that you can create.

Here's Debbie Miller. The lettering of Roberto de Vic de Comtesch stands out like a good dancer on a crowded dance

floor. It swoops and swishesishes and always impresses.

No matter how tiny, each O and S and F is alive in its own gesture.

Tivik began his career designing witty and ingenious book covers for publishing houses.

In 2000, he published his own book, An Animal Abicidery called Benbo's Zoo from Antelope to Zebra and yes there was a

unicorn. Devick shaped each animal out of the graceful Roman letters in its own

name a typographical tour de force.

He's come out with two more books since then, each devoted in its own way to type.

These days, Devick is the principal at De Vic Design.

They do publication and restaurant design and branding

with a focus, of course, on typography.
