Summary

A successful businessman returns to the small town of youth to foreclose on a mortgage held by his old childhood nemesis, upon whom he vowed revenge years ago. While checking out the property he finds a young boy sitting on a rock near the pond reading a book, and he is surprised at some of the features in the boy's face which remind him of people he knew. 0:49.0	Ferny Triangle where the station road forked to the right and left under the birches.
0:54.6	He hesitated as to which direction he would take.
0:57.6	The left led out to the old Turner Homestead, where he had spent his boyhood, and where his

1:05.8	for the Jamison property was situated.
1:08.0	Since he had stopped off at Chiswick
1:10.8	for the purpose of looking this property over before foreclosing the mortgage on it,
1:14.7	he concluded that he might as well take the Cove Road.
1:17.8	He could go around by the shore afterward.
1:20.2	He had not forgotten the way, even in 40 years.
1:23.0	And so on up to the old Sprucewood in Alec Martin's field,
1:27.0	if the Spruces were there still,
1:29.0	and the Field still Alec Martins,
1:31.0	to his cousin's place. He would just about have time to make the round before the early
1:35.6	country supper hour. Then a brief visit with Tom. Tom had always been a good sort of fellow,
1:41.8	although woefully dull and slow going.
1:45.4	He swung with a business-like stride into the Cove Road.
