Folks, every now and again, I do an hour on something and I would consider it important, not merely entertaining, although it certainly will be that.

But important, I'm holding in my hands a significant book.

It is called The History of G-Hod, from Muhammad to ISIS.

The author, Robert Spencer, is sitting with me in the studio I am thrilled to say welcome, Robert Spencer.

Well, you have written so much on the subject of Islam and the modern Islamic movement.

So, the fact that you've written what I would categorize as a definitive book on the subject is caused for celebration and congratulations.

Thanks, I appreciate that.

Yeah, this book I intended to fill a gap.

This book, actually my friend David Wood, who you may be familiar with, he's an excellent writer about Islam in himself.

He said he knew about the Quran, he knew about Muhammad, but he didn't know anything else in between until or very little in between until modern day terrorism.

So, this book fills in the gap.

Well, it is amazing, because when you talk about modern day terrorism, I mean, what did I know about Islam until, you know, the Iranian Revolution when I was in high school?

And suddenly go, what's this? What's going on? You know, and then that sort of goes away.

And then in 2001, our world changes and suddenly realized, oh, there's been this thing that has existed for centuries and centuries.

And many of us haven't been paying attention to it because we've had the, I guess the lock or the privilege or the blessing of not having to pay attention to it.

And then here it comes in the horrific, demonic form of two hijack jets into buildings, like very, very close to where we're sitting in our whole world changes.
