he sometimes had to argue with himself.

I'm writing the comics, and I'm working on the show, and then I start having ideas where it's like,

oh, maybe this guy has a pet tiger.

And in the back of my mind, I go, well, that's going to be hard to do in the show.

And then I go, you're a sellout, Kirkman.

You have to do the tiger now.

Robert Kirkman also tells us about restarting production from scratch on season two of this Amazon animated series, Invincible, after a long pandemic-related delay.

And he talks about his realization that he needed to make important changes to the series,

which is based on his superhero comic of the same name.
