To me it's not about how do we pay people thousands of jobs playing a game that's obviously

not sustainable for everyone. What it is about is shifting the narratives that instead

of people expecting to not own anything and that they get a war deal, they get entries

in a centralized database. The default is like stuff in real life, like owning your phone

when you buy a ability to actually have control over the things that you should have control

with.

We give them our information and they sell it back to us because we just don't know

any better. My health data could be an NFT that I get a return on every year if I give

it to a platform or my search data when I connect to a platform like Facebook or YouTube.

These are all potential NFTs that we could all own in the future, earn returns on or at

least have the ownership of that data more than anything.

Fundamentally all the innovation in NFT is taking the core innovation at Bitcoin, a

fundable cryptocurrency and allowing that to be expanded to every form of unique value

in the world.

Even if you think about shares on a stock market, they require a unique data format to be

stored and traded because you have different types of share preferences, you have different

classes of stock which have different future voting rights.

And so even on things that people would traditionally decay if this is fundable, this just requires

this ordinary technology, it actually requires NFTs.

What the power of this stuff is is providing liquidity to everything, creating the global

market for any unique asset.

That's incredibly powerful.
