It don't matter whether we pass a budget.

It won't matter whether or not, you know,

we get this kind of health care versus that kind of health care because at the end of the

day you will have no voice to vote on it you will have no rights under it you will

have no way to protest it you will have no way to even maybe get gathered with friends to talk about it because

this opens up a slippery slope otherwise.

So when you're going into this process and you're looking at these candidates and you're thinking about November,

worry less about what you like or don't like about a policy and worry more about who's actually going to be there when it's time to think about big issues like,

Donald Trump is now the official Republican nominee for President of the United States.

A twice impeached former president who stole top-secret documents, tried to overturn the last election,

is under felony indictments, and has been declared guilty of rape by a civil court.

He is the nominee of the party that he used to call themselves the party of law and order and family values.

Between Project 2025 and Agenda 47, it's clear that a second Trump presidency would be the end of American democracy as we know it, and the beginning of a white Christian

nationalist kleptocracy with Donald Trump at its center.

To ensure this happens, and following the authoritarian playbook, Donald Trump has already

started consolidating power around himself, shrinking his inner circle

to only include family and true loyalists. Nowhere is this behavior more obvious

than with the restructuring of the Republican National Committee,

where Donald Trump's hand-picked leader, Rana McDaniel, is out,

and an election denying sycophant and Trump's daughter-in-law are in.
