to change sex on birth certificates has dropped quite dramatically because the transgender debate

has been going on for so much time and so many people are now fed up with it.

We've seen a lot of big debates going on recently between Martine and Navratilova, the head of BBC Sport and Sharon

Davis, who's been on this very station talking to Kevin O'Sullivan, about how ludicrous it is

that this character who's running BBC sport thinks he knows more about women's sport than Sharon

I mean, it's good news this, isn't it? I think, that people are generally

perhaps getting a bit more educated about it and disagreeing with it a bit more. Exactly.

I mean, people thought that this was a civil rights issue. They thought there was a thing that

you could be born in the wrong body and they felt very sorry for anyone that happened to.

And they thought that it was okay to have sort of paperwork changed in order to accommodate this

tiny number of very suffering people. What they now understand since the first time this question

was asked in 2019 is that actually what's happening is that just very ordinary male people are being

able to change their birth cert to female or just being counted as female in fact without even changing their

birth cert and that means that men can come into women's spaces women's sports services that are meant to be
