0:19.2	Well today we're talking about what it means to be a Christian. What is a
0:24.6	Christian? How do you know if you are one? Or if you reject Christianity, you need
0:29.6	at least know what you're rejecting. I talk to some people sometimes that when
0:33.4	you bring up the idea of Jesus and following him they go, no, I don't want
0:36.6	anything to do with that. And I go, okay, can you explain to me what it is you're
0:39.8	rejecting? And they'll explain something. And I'll go, yeah, I don't believe that
0:45.4	either. I am against that also. Actually, Jesus is too. So we reject it
0:49.5	together. So before we get further into a book that's going to explain what a
0:54.4	Christian does, we need to understand what a Christian is. And Paul, if you
0:59.9	missed it, is talking about that in his introduction. Now remember, when we
1:04.1	jumped into this book, he's celebrating this group of people that the Apostle
1:08.9	Paul and his team had gone to Thessalonica and preached the gospel about
1:12.8	Jesus and gathered this little church. But then they experienced intense
1:16.8	persecution and it became unsafe for the church for Paul to stay. So for their
1:22.2	benefit, he had to leave earlier than he wanted to and he didn't feel good
1:26.2	about it. And let me tell you something, I can relate to that. Right out of
1:30.2	college, I became a youth pastor and I remember after five years when I left to
1:33.4	go to seminary, I was worried about my youth that when I came back, I was like,
1:37.4	what's going to happen to them? I was scared I was going to come back and they're
