Hey, folks, it's Joe. I'm really excited to announce that the Trapset Live is returning to Portland, Oregon on Sunday, February 26th.

This is a co-production with our friends at Revival Drum Shop, who are celebrating their eighth anniversary.

I'll be hosting a panel discussion with Mel Brown of Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gay, Sam Henry of the Wipers, Sarah Lund of Unwound,

Lisa Schoenberg of Secret Drum Band, and Benjamin Weichel of the Helio sequence.

There will also be DJ sets by John Sherman, Janet Weiss, and Cookie Parker, and performances

by Daniel Charles Hunt, and Adam Morford. It all goes down on Sunday, February 26th at 6 p.m. at Mississippi Studios.

Jeremiah co-founded the band in 1992 in Washington State.

His style strikes an impressive balance between chaos and control,

and his innovative beats have proven fundamental to the band's success.

Jeremiah left the group in 2003, just prior to to their mainstream breakthrough and returned a year later.

Aside from his work with Modest Mouse, Jeremiah is currently playing with World Gang,

recording solo material, and gearing up to open a store in Port Townsend, Washington. I spoke to him backstage before a recent gig at the Forum in Los Angeles.
