What's your first memory when you conjure up, you know, the early parts of your consciousness?

Wow. You know, actually, it doesn't have to be musical, right? But actually actually it's kind of a musical memory. Growing up,

I'm from Veracruz town in Mexico, the southeast coast of Mexico, and my parents had their shop in the downtown area, and I used to always go to the park with my grandmother when I was very little, and there was lots of music there.

And I remember I was thrown to just the different musical groups that were playing in the park,

including Marimba, and I think it's just a visual thing.

It was something that I was just really, I was really curious about. I didn't even know what it was.

So that is one of my very, you know, early memories, just spending time in this park and then

just watching different music happening and including marimba music or people dance to. And so it was

just very, you know, interesting for a kid. So you see that all around you.
