Did you have to swim over here today?

Thankfully I didn't, but I'll tell you what, last week was the longest week of my life.

I probably have seen more hurricanes than you have.

And I've only lived here since 1968.

No, I've, there's about five hurricanes have gone through.

Some are, you know, they were predicted to be maybe a one just like this one

yeah this one was the big difference on this when compared to the other ones

big and small was the the prediction made it sound like it was going to be

benign. They said well it's not a one but could be a one and the winds aren't

that bad. Turned out the winds were't that bad.

Turned out the winds were worsened, they said.

There was a lot of rain.

It paused at the wrong time.

It paused over Lake Jackson.

And a lot of damage.

The first time I saw the results of a hurricane living here

was I got up and walked out and I thought it reminded me
